Where to stay for Ondalinda depends on your group and your budget. Ondalinda x Careyes 2026 runs from 12 to 15 November in Costa Careyes, on the Costalegre coast of Jalisco. Beds inside Careyes go first, so most groups also look at the private villas and hotels along the coast nearby.

From Casa Papelillo, a private villa for 12, to Careyes
Ondalinda x Careyes 2026 takes place from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November 2026 in Costa Careyes, Jalisco, on Mexico’s Pacific coast. It is the festival’s tenth anniversary. The three main nights are held at the polo fields, Playa Zyanya and Cabeza del Indio, so plan to move between venues each evening.
Festival-goers stay in three kinds of place. Inside Careyes, there are casitas, villas and hotel rooms, which the festival sells alongside tickets. Nearby, guests stay at Cuixmala, Las Alamandas, Las Rosadas and around Chamela Bay. Groups also rent a whole private villa within a short drive and book a driver for the nights.

Yes. Casa Papelillo is a private, fully staffed oceanfront villa for up to 12 guests, ten minutes’ drive north of Careyes on Highway 200. It is rented whole, with five suites, a butler, a private chef and two housekeepers. It stands 20 metres from the Pacific, on the edge of the UNESCO Chamela–Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve.
You need a driver. Ondalinda does not allow parking at any of its venues, so every private vehicle must drop off and collect its passengers. The festival shuttle serves guests staying inside Careyes only. If you stay outside Careyes, book a private driver in advance; we arrange one for our guests.
Stay ten minutes from the festival: Casa Papelillo sleeps 12, fully staffed, on Chamela Bay.
A whole-villa rental gives your group total privacy between festival nights. The chef cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner at the house, so late nights are followed by slow mornings and a proper meal before the next venue. You go out to the music, then come back to the sound of the waves. Nobody shares a pool or a breakfast room with strangers.
Book your festival tickets and accommodation first, then your flights. Festival week falls in our high season, when a five-night minimum stay applies. Most guests fly into Manzanillo (ZLO), under two hours away, or Puerto Vallarta (PVR), about two and a half hours away. See our guide on how to get to Careyes.
November opens the Careyes season. The Careyes polo season runs from November to April, and humpback whales arrive off the coast from November too. The galleries, art walks and beach clubs of Careyes are ten minutes away. See our events page and our whale-watching guide.
